Meet Sanja Bacevski, a graduate engineer in horticulture, born in Leskovac, Serbia, who has brought her love for gardening to Ohrid. She has started growing microgreens with exceptional taste and exquisite appearance in her modest garden. Her interest in micro gardening started primarily from her desire to provide her children with healthy food. With a lot of reading and testing, Sanja came to the production of microgreens.
Microgreens have an extremely intense taste, compared to the same types of normal plants. Not to mention how rich they are in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, and how much they contribute to increasing immunity. The production of microgreens is absolutely organic and are not treated in any way. The soil she uses is organic compost and no fertilizers are used.
Currently, Sanja is growing sunflowers, spinach, corn, peas, Japanese radish, and broccoli, and is working on new varieties.
She shares her skills and knowledge with selfless enthusiasm and a great love of the microgreens!
