Road (N.Macedonia)

The morning begins with a coffee or light breakfast at Sopot Winery near Veles, surrounded by vineyards. From there, the road leads into the unique semi-arid terrain of Krivolak, known for its military history and striking contrast to the greener valleys ahead. A short break in Radovish offers a pause before continuing to Strumica, where riders can choose between a longer city stroll or visits to nearby natural and cultural sites. Just outside Strumica, the refreshing Tushanka natural spring and the Monastery of St. Leontius — an archaeological and spiritual landmark open daily — make worthwhile stops.

Lunch is best taken in Strumica before the road climbs toward the breathtaking Suvi Laki mountain pass, one of the most scenic stretches in the region, offering panoramic views and winding routes through untouched landscapes. Continue into the lush pine forests on the way to Berovo. The day ends with dinner at a local restaurant, preferably at Hunting Lodge, featuring local specialties like plum brandy and deer meat, followed by an overnight stay at premium hotel in Berovo.
